1.Keukenhof Gardens, Amsterdam, Netherlands

-When: Until May 13th, from 08:00 to 19:30 h.

-Where: The Keukenhof is in Lisse, between Amsterdam and The Hage.

2.RSH Chelsea Flower Show, London, England

-When: From 22nd to 26th May.

-Where: Royal Hospital Chelsea, London.

This incredible flower festival offers the opportunity for exhibitors to present their excellent floral works for gardens or parks. Visitors can get advice from these floral experts.

3.The Flower Festival, Girona, Spain

When: May 13th to 21st

-Where: Barrio Vell, Girona

Without a doubt, one of the most spectacular floral festivals in Spain. The hideouts of the city of Girona and the monuments are filled with flowers and plants. Some places you can’t miss, are: Passeig Arqueológic i muntaya de la O, Jardins de la Francesa, Església de Santa Llúcia or Antic Cinema Modern. You can also enjoy the traditional folkloric dance. A perfect place to enjoy with the family!

4.The flower festival, Madeira, Portugal

-When: Until 13 May

-Where: Madeira, Portugal

In Madeira the flower festival is a real spectacle. Floats decorated with typical flowers of the island, parades, floral sculptures, etc., give the city a great color. Every year a queen is chosen and crowned with the Flower Festival. A perfect place to enjoy and get to know Portugal!

5.The carpet of flowers, Brussels, Belgium

-When: From 16 to 19 August.

-Where: Grand Place, Brussels.

The Brussels flower carpet is made from 700,000 begonias grown in early summer in Ghent. Due to begonias aren’t sown in the ground, this show only lasts 3 days. Approximately one hundred gardeners are needed.
